Exploring Gravity Falls

A college illustration assignment featuring my favorite animated show currently on TV (and which does not have the word 'Simpsons' in the title). It's supposed to be for a travel poster of a fictional location. 

This is actually my first time attempting a digital painting, and it was quite the experience. I'm looking forward to doing more like it.
